in DC and eight other states, including Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wyoming They now consider being a victim of Domestic Violence a Pre-Existing condition... So they can now deny you healthcare, or care at the hospital or urgent care setting if they believe your condition or issue is caused by domestic violence. Psychiatric help for those abused guess what they wont have to cover that either. This is a sad sad thing to do to people. Inhuman ridiculous and I dont even know how else to describe it. As a victim of domestic violence I can just say this is a cruel cruel thing to do.
